Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES (Roanoke, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Dayspring Christian Academy Lions (Blacksburg, VA), 54-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Roanoke Valley Christian upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The EAGLES host Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Temple Christian won 64-44 in their recent league bout against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA)

Next up, the Lions play the Christian Heritage Academy Knights (Rocky Mount, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Dayspring Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
