The Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) basketball nipped the host Garner Trojans (Garner, NC), 65-62 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Heritage was tipped by Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 52-38, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Green Level for a non-league test on Monday, January 15. Garner will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 52-43 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Gators record now stands at 12-2.
