Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ), 53-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Montgomery upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Raiders play the Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Hillsborough will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
