Asotin Panthers (Asotin, WA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), 66-26 in a league match.
With the victory, Asotin advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Panthers host Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 7-5. Pomeroy won 56-35 in their recent league match against Tekoa-Rosalia (Tekoa, WA)

Upper Columbia Academy will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-42 league win over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-1.
