In Monday's league contest, the host Portsmouth Christian Patriots basketball team scored a good 55-44 triumph over the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks.

The Patriots (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA). The Vikings go into the Metropolitan contest with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Seahawks battle the Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Atlantic Shores Christian will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Kings go into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 94-47 non-league loss to St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA).
