In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting St. John Eagles basketball team scored a good 51-40 win over the Berchmans Academy Saints.
The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Berwick (Berwick, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 13-10 record.
In their next game, the Saints battle the Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Berchmans Academy will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 1-21 record after their 261-29 non-league loss to Hackberry (Hackberry, LA).
