In Monday's non-league test, the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) basketball squad got by the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), by a score of 53-50.
Next, the Blue Devils encounter the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) in a C North test, on Wednesday, January 15. Calais will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Howlers come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 56-21 non-league loss to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME).
The Pandas (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Wolverines come into the D North test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Schenck held off Penquis Valley (Milo, ME), 82-30, in a non-league test.
