In Monday's league contest, the visiting Central Regional Golden Eagles basketball team scored a big 71-41 triumph over the Toms River South Indians.
The Golden Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ). The Mustangs go into the Shore A - South contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Brick Memorial was trounced by Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ), 60-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) in a Shore A - South contest, on Thursday, January 16. Toms River South will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
