The Easton Bears basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Washburn Beavers to 44 in the Bears league triumph on Monday.
The Bears now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgdon for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. Easton will confront a Hawks team coming off a 101-17 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, Washburn falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Ashland (Ashland, ME) to confront the Hornets in a D North game on Thursday, January 16. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 3-9. Ashland lost 52-35 in their recent league game against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME)
