In Monday's league contest, the visiting Wabeno/Laona Rebels basketball team scored a big 93-17 triumph over the Elcho Hornets.

The Rebels (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Goodman-Pembine (Goodman, WI). The Falcons go into the Northern Lakes contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Goodman-Pembine was trounced by Crandon (Crandon, WI), 64-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the Tigerton Tigers (Tigerton, WI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Elcho will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 68-36 league win over Marion (Marion, WI).
