North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston can't get by Forestview

The North Gaston Wildcats basketball squad (Dallas, NC), was nudged 65-59 in Monday's league battle with the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC)

With the victory, Forestview advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Jaguars host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Greenwave in a 3A Big South battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Greenwave enter the battle with a record of 12-2. Ashbrook won 67-55 in their recent league battle against Crest (Shelby, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kings Mountain for a 3A Big South battle on Tuesday, January 14. North Gaston will meet a Mountaineers squad coming off a 75-70 league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-7.
