In Monday's league test, the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Jersey Panthers (Jerseyville, IL), by a final score of 61-22.

Next, the Knights clash with the Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) in a Mississippi Valley test, on Friday, January 17. Triad will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 14-4 record after their 54-41 non-league loss to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL).

The Panthers (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Southwestern (Piasa, IL). The Piasa Birds come into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Southwestern bounced SIUE East St. Louis Charter (East St. Louis, IL), 48-36, in a non-league test.
