The Lamoni Demons basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers to 42 in the Demons league triumph on Monday.

The Demons now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Melcher-Dallas for a Bluegrass game on Tuesday, January 14. Lamoni will confront a Saints team coming off a 78-28 non-league loss to Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA). The Saints record now stands at 0-11.

With the loss, Twin Cedars falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Murray (Murray, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a Bluegrass game on Tuesday, January 14. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 8-2. Murray won 60-19 in their recent non-league game against Diagonal (Diagonal, IA)
