In Monday's non-league contest, the host Larkin Royals basketball team scored a good 68-59 triumph over the Prairie Ridge Wolves.
The Royals (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Bison go into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Fenton was topped by Addison Trail (Addison, IL), 59-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) in a Fox Valley contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Prairie Ridge will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 50-49 league loss to Jacobs (Algonquin, IL).
