Maryland High School Basketball - Wicomico nips Mardela

In Monday's league contest, the host Wicomico Indians basketball team scored a close 51-50 win over the Mardela Warriors.

The Indians (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parkside (Salisbury, MD). The Rams come into the Bayside - South contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Parkside edged Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD), 88-74, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Bennett Clippers (Salisbury, MD) in a Bayside - South contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Mardela will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
