In Monday's league contest, the visiting Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils basketball team scored a big 68-46 triumph over the Wayne Falcons.

The Blue Devils (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks go into the Pride of Iowa contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Southeast Warren smashed East Union (Afton, IA), 68-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Wayne will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 57-39 league loss to Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA).
