The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Millbrook Pioneers to 57 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now have a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. Meridian will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 60-22 non-league win over Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Millbrook falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Liberty (Bealeton, VA) to confront the Eagles in a Northwestern game on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-4. Liberty lost 54-51 in their recent league game against James Wood (Winchester, VA)
