Texas High School Basketball - North Mesquite overwhelms Spruce

The North Mesquite Stallions basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Spruce Timberwolves to 20 in the Stallions league triumph on Monday.

The Stallions now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Seagoville for a 5A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, January 14. North Mesquite will face a Dragons squad coming off a 75-25 league win over Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 13-11.

The Timberwolves now own a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Samuell for a 5A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, January 14. Spruce will face a Spartans squad coming off a 71-34 league loss to West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 1-23.
