The Northern Bedford County Panthers basketball squad (Loysburg, PA), was nudged 54-52 in Monday's league battle with the host Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA)

With the victory, Southern Huntingdon County advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Rockets travel to Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA) to clash with the in a non-league outing on Thursday, January 16. The come into the outing with a record of 11-1. Forbes Road won 78-60 in their recent league outing against Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA)

The Panthers (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Everett (Everett, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Everett held off Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA), 63-45, in a league outing.
