Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), 65-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Owatonna advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Huskies travel to Faribault (Faribault, MN) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 9-3. Faribault won 89-68 in their recent non-league match against Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN)
The Ponies now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Ridge for a AAAA Section 4 match on Wednesday, January 15. Stillwater will face a Raptors squad coming off a 67-46 league win over Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Raptors record now stands at 7-4.
