The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) and the visiting Strasburg Rams (Strasburg, VA), observed Sherando's basketball team knock off Strasburg by a score of 57-48.

The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats come into the Northwestern challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Warren County prevailed over Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA), 39-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA) in a Bull Run challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Strasburg will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 65-41 league loss to Luray (Luray, VA).
