The Newburyport Clippers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Lynnfield Pioneers to 39 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Clippers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Rockport for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15.
With the loss, Lynnfield falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 0-1.
