In Monday's non-league contest, the host Houma Christian Warriors basketball team scored a big 50-20 triumph over the A.J. Ellender Patriots.
The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA). The Panthers go into the 2A District 7 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Delcambre was trounced by Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), 24-9, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. A.J. Ellender will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 57-23 non-league win over Covington (Covington, LA).
