The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) and the host Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA), observed Beaver's basketball team overwhelm Hampton by a score of 48-24.
The Bobcats (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Cougars come into the WPIAL 4A 2 challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Blackhawk trounced Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 62-22, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Talbots encounter the Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Hampton will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bridgers come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 54-13 league loss to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA).
