In Monday's league contest, the visiting Buckfield Bucks basketball team scored a good 45-35 triumph over the Richmond Bobcats.

The Bucks (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carrabec (North Anson, ME). The Cobras go into the C South contest with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Carrabec thwarted Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME), 65-35, in a non-league battle.

The Bobcats now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacopee Valley for a C South battle on Wednesday, January 15. Richmond will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 47-27 league loss to Poland (Poland, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 2-8.
