In Monday's league test, the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), by a score of 82-28.

Next, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) in a Battlefield test, on Tuesday, January 14. James Monroe will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 35-27 league win over King George (King George, VA).

The Cavaliers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers come into the Battlefield test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Chancellor bounced Eastern View (Culpeper, VA), 58-30, in a league test.
