With the victory, Clarke County advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Washington County (Chatom, AL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 1 match on Thursday, January 16. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-6. Washington County won 59-40 in their recent non-league match against Blacksher (Uriah, AL)

The Jaguars now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensboro for a 3A Area 7 match on Wednesday, January 15. Sumter Central will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 45-22 non-league loss to Marengo (Dixons Mills, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 1-10.
