The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Commodore Perry Panthers (Hadley, PA) and the host Rocky Grove Orioles (Franklin, PA), observed Commodore Perry's basketball team knock off Rocky Grove by a score of 62-49.

The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Saegertown (Saegertown, PA). The Panthers come into the District 10 Region 2 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Saegertown dropped by Cochranton (Cochranton, PA), 45-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Orioles encounter the East Forest Bears (Marienville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Rocky Grove will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 42-29 non-league loss to Union (Rimersburg, PA).
