The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Escambia County Blue Devils (Atmore, AL) and the visiting Flomaton Hurricanes (Flomaton, AL), observed Escambia County's basketball team overwhelm Flomaton by a score of 55-20.

The Blue Devils (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL). The Eagles come into the 4A Area 2 challenge with a 6-16 record. In their last challenge, W.S. Neal trounced Northview (Bratt, FL), 52-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Hillcrest Jaguars (Evergreen, AL) in a 3A Area 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Flomaton will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 51-48 non-league win over W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL).
