The Kearsarge Cougars basketball squad (North Sutton, NH), was outscored 32-16 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH)
With the victory, Stevens advances its record to 1-7 on the year. The Cardinals host Mascoma (Canaan, NH) to meet the Royals in a Division III battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Royals enter the battle with a record of 1-6. Mascoma lost 52-46 in their recent non-league battle against Winnisquam (Tilton, NH)
The Cougars now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport for a Division III battle on Tuesday, January 14. Kearsarge will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 58-36 league win over Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
