The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) and the host West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), observed Kennedy Catholic's basketball team overwhelm West Middlesex by a score of 58-34.

The (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Greyhounds come into the District 10 Region 1 challenge with a 13-0 record. In their last challenge, Wilmington trounced Farrell (Farrell, PA), 56-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Big Reds battle the Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 16. West Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Sailors come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 53-34 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA).
