In Monday's non-league test, the King City Wildkats (King City, MO) basketball squad trounced the visiting North Nodaway Mustangs (Hopkins, MO), by a score of 45-16.

Next, the Wildkats clash with the North Harrison Shamrocks (Eagleville, MO) in a Grand River West test, on Tuesday, January 21. King City will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Shamrocks come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 53-30 non-league loss to Gilman City (Gilman City, MO).

The Mustangs (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Nodaway-Holt (Graham, MO). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Nodaway-Holt bounced Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO), 64-32, in a non-league test.
