Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge sneaks past Stone Bridge

The Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) basketball edged the visiting Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA), 59-55 in Monday's league bout.
The Bolts now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a Potomac bout on Thursday, January 16. Lightridge will play a team coming off a 41-33 non-league loss to Freedom (South Riding, VA). The record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Stone Bridge falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA) to play the Falcons in a Potomac bout on Friday, January 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-5.
