The Titans (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Golden Lions come into the WPIAL 5A 2 challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Greensburg Salem was tipped by Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 54-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Montour will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 53-48 league win over West Allegheny (Imperial, PA).
