The Yorktown Huskers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Poughkeepsie Pioneers to 55 in the Huskers league triumph on Monday.

The Huskers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brewster for a Section 1 Conference 1A game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Poughkeepsie falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Brewster (Brewster, NY) to play the Bears in a Section 1 Conference 1A game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-5.
