In Monday's league contest, the visiting Robinson Rams basketball team scored a close 48-41 triumph over the South County Stallions.

The Rams (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans go into the District 4 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, West Springfield was tipped by Woodson (Fairfax, VA), 54-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Stallions battle the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a District 4 contest, on Wednesday, January 15. South County will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 60-40 league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
