In Monday's non-league contest, the host West Lutheran Warriors basketball team scored a big 58-35 triumph over the Rockford Rockets.
The Warriors (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage Christian Academy (Maple Grove, MN). The Eagles go into the A Section 4 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Heritage Christian Academy was trounced by Eagle Ridge Academy (Minnetonka, MN), 44-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers (Glencoe, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Rockford will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 60-47 league win over Central (Norwood-Young America, MN).
