The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Highline Pirates (Burien, WA) and the host Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA), observed Highline's basketball team overwhelm Kent-Meridian by a score of 43-20.
The Pirates (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Evergreen (Seattle, WA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Evergreen trounced Renton (Renton, WA), 26-24, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Royals encounter the Federal Way Eagles (Federal Way, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Kent-Meridian will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
