In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues basketball team scored a good 33-14 triumph over the Nelson County Governors.
The Fighting Blues (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Governors confront the Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Nelson County will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 27-21 non-league loss to Altavista (Altavista, VA).
