In Monday's league outing, the host Pass Christian Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Greene County Wildcats.
The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Tigers go into the 4A Region 8 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Bay got by Poplarville (Poplarville, MS), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS) in a 4A Region 8 outing, on Thursday, January 16. Greene County will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 9-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS).
