Florida High School Soccer - Lakewood Ranch knocks off Palmetto

January 13, 2025: Palmetto, FL 34221

In Monday's league outing, the visiting Lakewood Ranch Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Palmetto Tigers.

The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Cardinal Mooney got by Manatee (Bradenton, FL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Tigers play the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 16. Palmetto will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL).
