In Monday's non-league contest, the host Sutton/Douglas Sammies basketball team scored a good 61-47 triumph over the Blackstone-Millville Chargers.

The Sammies (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA). The Crusaders go into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers (Upton, MA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Blackstone-Millville will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record.
