The Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) basketball edged the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 38-32 in Monday's league bout.
The Centurions now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Greer Middle College for a bout on Friday, January 17. Broome will play a Blazers team coming off a 32-26 non-league win over GREEN Upstate (Simpsonville, SC). The Blazers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Union County falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Chapman (Inman, SC) to play the Panthers in a bout on Thursday, January 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Chapman won 49-21 in their recent non-league bout against Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC)
