The Laurens Raiders basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Westside Rams to 37 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Raiders now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. Laurens will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 33-26 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Westside falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Wren (Piedmont, SC) to confront the Hurricanes in a game on Thursday, January 16. The Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 9-4. Wren won 40-38 in their recent league game against Southside (Greenville, SC)
