The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) and the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), observed Spanish Springs's basketball team overwhelm Reed by a margin of 65-34.

The Cougars (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Damonte Ranch was trounced by Galena (Reno, NV), 54-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Reed will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 54-31 league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV).
