Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Northeast Vikings (Pride, LA), saw McKinley's soccer squad triumph over Northeast by a count of 8-0.
The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors enter the Division III District 5 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, St. Michael Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA), 1-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Vikings battle the Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Bengals enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 7-3 league loss to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA).
