Kentucky High School Basketball - Seneca can't hold off Eastern

Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Seneca Red Hawks (Louisville, KY), 55-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Eastern advances its record to 14-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Butler (Louisville, KY) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, January 15. The Bears enter the match with a record of 12-4. Butler won 67-66 in their recent non-league match against W.E.B. DuBois Academy (Louisville, KY)

The Red Hawks now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league match on Monday, January 19. Seneca will face a Senators squad coming off a 66-58 league win over Woodward (Cincinnati, OH). The Senators record now stands at 8-2.
