The Nelson basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Gresham Gophers to 70 in the league triumph on Tuesday.

The now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Sandy for a 6A Mt. Hood game on Friday, January 16. Nelson will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 63-62 league win over Reynolds (Troutdale, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-6.
