In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Tatum Eagles basketball team scored a good 89-72 triumph over the West Rusk Raiders.

The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Troup (Troup, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region II District 16 match with a 15-6 record. In their last match, Troup notched a victory over West Rusk (New London, TX), 52-44, in a league match.

The Raiders now sport a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to White Oak for a 3A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, January 16. West Rusk will confront a Roughnecks team coming off a 46-43 league win over Gladewater (Gladewater, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 12-14.
