Maryland High School Basketball - Archbishop Spalding thwarts Glenelg Country

The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) basketball knocked off the host Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD), 78-64 in Friday's league test.
The Cavaliers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles go into the MIAA A - Black test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, McDonogh went down by Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 56-29, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Calvert Hall for a MIAA A - Black test on Friday, January 21.
